Megan served aboard the USS Ogden (LPD5) as the Communications Officer. The Ogden is one of the 7 ships that comprise the ESG-1 (Expeditionary Strike Group-1). Megan deployed with ESG-1 on August 22, for an estimated 8 month deployment in the Western Pacific. She completed her second tour and is now on to her third assignment. She has been promoted to full LT and is stationed at USNA attached to the Sailing Program.  Pictures

LCDR (select) Brian Cellilli '94 On 01Aug03, Brian was assigned as Asst Air Operations Officer for Carrier Group 1 headquartered @ North Island NAS in Coronado, CA.  He is the son of Alumni Parents Club members (1990 to present) Phyllis and Tom Cellilli of Hillsborough, NJ.  Brian and his wife Melanie have three children - Justin (Age 3) and twin daughters Morgan and Brooke (Age 7 mos.) Brian has had prior assignments as an S3-B Viking NFO with VS-38 (Fighting Red Griffins) and as a flight instructor assigned to S3-B Viking Command Squadron VS-41(Shamrocks) where he was selected as NFO Flight Instructor of the Year in 2002. In his present assignment, Cellilli has command operational responsibility for all flight operations for battle groups assigned to Carrier Group 1.

LT Christopher (Toph) Lake '98 Deployed June 6, 2003 from his duty station in Kenehoe Bay, Oahu, Hawaii, to Misawa, Japan for a six month deployment.  He is now a P-3 Plane Commander with Patrol Squadron 4. While at USNA, Toph was the Captain of the 1998 Navy Baseball team and was named Patriot League Player of the Year and elected into the USNA Athletic Hall of Fame. Toph recently served in Operation Enduring Freedom.

LTJG Richard Lang '03 (Ricky) completed the VFA-122 RAG in Lemoore, CA  in July.  He has recently been assigned to VFA-2, "The Bounty Hunters" FA-18 Super Hornet squadron, also out of Lemoore, CA,  for his first three-year tour.  
 
He recently attended the Navy Stanford football game where he joined many classmates to cheer for Navy.  Following a two-week training trip to Key West with The Bounty Hunters, he will be a groomsman for fellow sailing team member Justin Smith, in the Navy Chapel.

LT Julia Mason '99 is stationed at USNA as the Visit Services Officer in the Public Affairs Office in charge of coordinating and acting as escort officer for all official visits to the Academy by Government Officials, Foreign Military Officers and Dignitaries and all other VIP's.  Julia has been selected to represent the United States at the 3rd Annual World Military Games to be held in September 2003 in Catania, Italy.  She will compete in several swimming events.

LTJG Todd Urkowitz '04 Stationed in Mayport, FL.  Recently presented with the "Seahawk" Award for his professional achievement and superior performance of his duties while serving as a Fleet Replacement Pilot at Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Light Four Zero from 1/07 to 9/07.  He was the top graduate of his class who demonstrated initiative, academic performance and outstanding airwork skills flying the SH-60B helicopter.
